John Romero hit the forums again and posted this about the release of a Daikatana beta version:

"Yes, it's definitely my plan to release the E3 versions of Daikatana, all the way back to 1997 when it was in the Quake1 engine. :)

The creator and master of Daikatana, simply known as John Romero, is back in the house ;)
You can get in contact with him and discuss about Hyperspace Delivery Boy!, Quake I, Daikatana and other games in the Rome.ro forums.
He also replied to this thread about the Daikatana source:

"Unfortunately, I do *NOT* have the source or any data to Daikatana. It's backed up on a DLT tape at Ion Storm, but my efforts at getting a copy have been useless."

Well, most of our members are spread all over the whole world and we don't see us that much. DI-Talisman was back for a few days, but then he disappeared again, maybe again for 2 years bro?
There might be another Daikatana tourney, but that's not sure. Time will tell...

Sat1 Edition Fix available & new map in progress- update by DI-MeisterM

A new fix for the german Sat1 Edition is available in the Files Section. Furthermore DI-smover is working on a new map called E1RACTF1. This is a Rocket-Arena CTF map, currently in beta-phase. I just took a quick look: it just rockz! I hope it will be released soon.
I also added the original source (.map & .trd2) of E1DT1 to the Files Section.

Well, what should I say...nobody is in the lobby. 3-4 Servers are available with not many players on it. I see from time to time a few newbies playing around.

DI-smover recorded 2 demos from our yesterday matches. The first one shows a normal CTF match and the other one shows a match between the DI and SFC clan.

New Damage Inc. Website launched! - update by DI-MeisterM

I've finally launched the new Damage Inc. Daikatana Clanpage. I used the old DaikatanaNews.com design and modified it a bit. I think that the new clanpage looks now much better than before.
